About the Founder
Michelle Rau is the founder and President of FirmValue. She has over 20 years of experience spanning mechanical engineering, entrepreneurship and finance. She brings a rare combination of technical credibility, business acumen, and deep Yukon roots to every engagement.
Michelle holds a Master of Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Queen's University and is a licensed Professional Engineer registered in the Yukon. She holds additional credentials in Generative AI Leadership from Vanderbilt University and has completed First Nations 101 at Yukon University, reflecting her commitment to serving the full breadth of the Yukon business community.
She is currently working toward completing the AI for Energy Professionals program at the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute. In Fall 2026, Michelle will complete the AI Strategy for Business Leaders program at Harvard.
